Our tune-ups include a complete cleaning plus all the checks and tests necessary to ensure your unit is operating safely and efficiently. We base our tune-up checklist on the recommendations set forth by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.

What our tune-ups include

Air Conditioner

  • Checked thermostat and made adjustments where necessary

  • Tightened all electrical connections

  • Inspected low and high volt wiring

  • Oil condenser fan motor

  • Test safety controls

  • Clean evaporator drain

  • Clean rubbish out of condenser and clean with coil cleaner

  • Check refrigerant level and advise leak detection if necessary

  • Clean and adjust blower components

  • Check indoor evaporator temp drop

  • Inspect and adjust belts

  • Adjust humidifier dampers

  • Measure evaporator super heat

  • Tighten all refrigerant valve caps

  • Check and replace filter with consent if necessary

  • Resealnoutside line set penetration if necessary

  • Analyze unit’s operation and appearance and inform of its efficiency, condition and any necessary recommendations

Gas Furnace

  • Check thermostat and make adjustments where necessary

  • Test safety controls

  • Remove rust & soot then clean & adjust burners

  • Clean and adjust ignition assembly or OHM igniter

  • Check micro and signal from flame sensor

  • Adjust gas/air mixture for optimum efficiency

  • Oil motor bearings

  • Clean condensate trap

  • Check all gas connections located in unit

  • Adjust gas/pilot pressure

  • Inspect and adjust belts

  • Check filter and replace with consent if necessary

  • Check and tighten all exhaust pipe connections

  • Clean and adjust fan timer

  • Inspect and clean heat exchanger thoroughly

  • Ensure correct temperature rise

  • Check electrical wiring and tighten all electrical connections

  • Cycle unit and make adjustments accordingly

  • Inspect blower access door and ensured correct operation

  • Analyze unit’s operation and appearance and inform of its efficiency, condition and any necessary recommendations
